Yesterday when we were swimming we heard something rustling around in the bushes under the lemon tree. Mom went to look and it was a little scrub jay! He couldn't fly but most of his baby fluff was gone. He hopped over the pool wall and disappeared into the bushes. Mom was reading a book on American politics while we swam.
